Pioneering Photochemical Etching

Metching is a photochemical etching manufacturer based in Dongguan, China. Founded in 2005, we manufacture custom flat metal components from customer drawings, including metal shims, filters and screens, and etched flow plates for printed circuit heat exchangers. Photochemical etching uses patterned photoresist and controlled chemical removal to form metal features.

What should you send for a quotation? Provide the material grade, thickness, drawing or CAD file, quantity and required delivery date. Mark critical dimensions, flatness, surface finish and inspection requirements. For filters, include hole size and open area; for flow plates, include channel geometry and target depth. Our team reviews manufacturability, achievable tolerances and lead time for the specific project.

Founded in 2005, Metching brings 20+ years of experience to photochemical etching. Material thicknesses: 0.05–2.5 mm. Maximum processing size: 690 × 1400 mm for material below 0.2 mm thick; 690 × 2100 mm for 0.5 mm material. Other thicknesses require project-specific review. Long, thin sheets can bend or deform. Tolerances are evaluated according to material thickness, drawings and processing requirements, with no universal fixed tolerance.
